The year of the lightning bolt has made way for the year of the locomotive. The year of the locomotive has made way for the UCLA Quarters of Cakes. And, YES if you have a locomotive to spare- I'd love to turn it into an elevated sculptural locomotive cathedral.....! I am also in the market for a submarine.

My work pushes towards deep pockets of courageous imperfection. I believe that far too few interesting, magical, and thought provoking places exist. The sculptures I create attempt, on an individual level, to tip this balance. I hope to expose the complex intersections between place, belonging, object and action. I find beauty in architectural restlessness and see my sculptures as places to escape responsibility, perfection and seriousness. I hope to trigger fond memories and prompt fantastic thoughts while building community. I want drudgery as prisoner and the swing to reign.
